Citroen DS line-up will include a sports car

Next to the DS3 and DS4, the newly launched Citroen DS line-up will include a series of new models, including a sports car said the company boss Frederic Banzet at the Paris Auto Show. Talking to AutoCar he said that a sports car is seriously taken under consideration. But until we’ll have the chance to see it on the streets we will see more derivatives of the DS3. And the first of them will be a soft-top DS3.

Citroen’s DS models are distinguished by: striking LED light, a chrome-finished waistline surrounding dark tinted windows, muscular wheel arches, tautly drawn roofline with a spoiler for added vitality, chrome rear bumper and light clusters highlights. The DS3 model gets a 1.6 turbo THP engine that delivers a total of 155 HP, while the DS4 will get a HDi 110 engine combined with Citroen’s micro-hybrid e-HDi technology. The two models will go on sale in 2011.
